Why Choose EXA Sports?
When choosing a gym you should make sure the gym's philosophy fits the needs of you and your child. EXA Sports is different than many other gyms. Our focus is on the FUN and the development that our sports have to offer. We encourage each and every child, no matter their talent to be their very best, not necessarily the best. We know that not every athlete is going to make it to the Olympics. That's why we focus on the fun! We have recreational programs for those who are interested in just having fun and getting some exercise as well as competitive programs for the kids who have the drive to be part of a team as well as having FUN!
We know that you and your child will be spending many hours in our facility so we strive to make EXA Sports to be like a 2nd home.
As a small, privately owned and funded business, our goal is to work with other business and organizations in the community. We like to partner with organizations that we can help to enhance as well as enhancing ours.
Developing strong kids into successful adults, EXA Sports provides your children with a fun atmosphere to learn about cheerleading and gymnastics but it's the gaining of self esteem, confidence, and goal setting skills that really make the difference in your child's future.
EXA Sports is the place where you learn discipline, team work and persistence. Our sports develop strength, flexibility, & coordination but also teaches listening skills, provides social interaction with peers and develops cognitive abilities to help in the classroom for future success
Most importantly, we believe that striving to be your best is far more important than being the best. We are raising tomorrow’s leaders on today’s playgrounds.

EXA Sports is an AAU Member Gym

AAU has been raising champions for more than a century. Since 1888, the AAU has set the standard for amateur sports in the United States. ‘Sports For All, Forever’ has been their focus and drive for 123 years and counting. It is more than a motto – it is their vision for sports in the United States and throughout the world. And today they are proud to host more sporting events for more age divisions in more cities than any other organization in the world.
However, the AAU is not just about sports. For every athlete who attains professional sports status after the AAU, there are hundreds more who apply their AAU experience elsewhere. What our participants gain is much more valuable than athletic glory, much more important than any athletic achievement. Through participation in AAU sports programs athletes acquire the mental activity, emotional maturity, and social tools necessary to succeed in the classroom and in the world beyond.
AAU is an organization where problem solving and cooperation are taught through the medium of sports. AAU is the AAU Sullivan Award, honoring the top amateur athlete. Our Staff=Role Models
We hire locally! We believe in training our area high school and college students into great coaches and to guide them for future employment.
We teach our coaches to care about each and every kid. At EXA Sports you are not just a number. Our small athlete to coach ratio in both our recreational and competitive programs allow you and your child to feel like part of family.

EXA Sports Gives Back
Although EXA Sports is a non for profit organization, all profits do go back into the program to provide our kids with the best coaches, facility, and training we could offer.
We also work with several area non-profit organizations such as the Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls Club, and several area high school and middle school, cheer, dance, and gymnastics programs, providing an opportunity to learn about our sports!
